Luxury gift ideas for this Christmas
Christmas is a time for giving, and what better way to show your loved ones how much you care than with a luxurious gift that will truly spoil and indulge them? From designer fragrances to extravagant experiences, there are so many options to choose from when it comes to luxury Christmas gift ideas.
If your’re looking for a strong gift for a man in your life I can suggest the Pirates grog spiced rum in a presentation chest. It is so beautifully presented that I don’t know if I would be able to drink it, it looks like a display item. For someone who likes/collects spirits this would make a stunning gift.
If you are shopping for someone you is more into tech, a new pair of earphones might be a good option. I feel like gifting someone something they will use on a day to day basis to do something they enjoy will always be meaningful. Whether you are getting someone the latest games console to enjoy during their free time or a good set of earphones to get them through gym sessions or the daily commute, electronics are always a good choice for a luxury gift.
For those who enjoy pampering themselves, consider treating them to a spa day or a weekend getaway at a luxury resort. A relaxing massage, rejuvenating facial, or a dip in a private hot tub can provide the ultimate indulgence.
Gifting someone luxury can be as simple as freeing up some of their time and providing them with some small things that will make up a luxury experience, such as a bottle of wine, some scented candles, a book from a genre that they love and making sure they have the time to indulge themselves. Giving the gift of luxury and indulgence does not have to cost you a fortune.
Giving someone a luxury fragrance is an amazing way to gift, something they can use time and time again that makes them feel special and will add a little touch of elegance to something as simple as getting ready to go out.

I have been a huge fan of the original Angel fragrance for many, many years and it’s absolutely stunning and timeless. The Angel Elixir is a new addition to the family and it’s beautiful, I assumed it would be similar in scent but I was wrong, it stands completely on it’s own and if you have Angel already (or the person you are buying for) then you definitely need both! For me the original Angel is ‘that girl’ for me and can never do replaced but I like the deep woody and slight citrus that I get from the Elixir and the longevity of the scent is a huge selling point for me as a little goes a very long way.
Nothing says luxury like adding something to your lifestyle that enables you to take quality time out to relax and enjoy yourself, whether that is a long soak in the bath or a evening out on the hammock with a loved one or even alone with a good book.
If you really want to spoil them, why not book a stay at an exclusive hotel complete with breathtaking views and top-notch service?
If a stay at the the Hilton is a little out of your budget but you still want that level of luxuriousness and service then booking afternoon tea for two at one of Hilton’s many hotels will always be well received.
Higher end items are not just for the adults in your life either, if you want to go just a little further for a child in your life then its definitely worth checking out skates.co.uk for a huge ranges of skates, scooters and skateboards to something they will love. Stunt scooter are a great gift for someone who loves the sport or even for someone who is looking to get into riding.
Luxury Christmas gift ideas don’t have to be limited to tangible items. Experiences can be just as memorable and meaningful. Consider gifting your loved one with tickets to a sold-out concert or a VIP experience at their favorite sporting event. Alternatively, you could book them a private cooking class with a renowned chef or arrange for a personal shopping experience with a professional stylist.
If you’re looking for a gift that’s a really practical one of the vehicle finders from PAJ, This tracker can be used like the others to track and locate your vehicles but it is also very easy to move from vehicle to vehicle if you have more than one. Check out the website for all the specifications and if you find one you like there is a code: Coupon Code: ucantwearthat available to be used on the UK store til Dec 31st
No matter what luxury gift you choose, the most important thing is to show your loved ones how much you care. By taking the time and effort to find something truly special and indulgent, you are sure to make this Christmas one they will never forget. So go ahead and spoil them – they deserve it!
It’s Christmas. 5 free fun things to do
Free is everyone’s favourite word, especially now with the cost of living so high and Christmas just three weeks away. My family and I have been trying to think of some fun things to do that will cost very little, or even better nothing.
The Christmas Market
I would be crazy not to mention the Christmas markets. They are absolutely beautiful and fun for all the family, I especially like the fact that it can cost as much or as little as works for you. There is so much to see and such a lovely festive spirit in the air that is a great way to spent an afternoon, enjoying the company, seeing all of the displays and soaking in all the joy around you. There are so many that run each year that you shouldn’t have to travel far to take advantage of your nearest one.
A Night Carolling
Clear your throat and have a sing song for Christmas. I’m a Londoner and if you’re local you can pop down to Trafalgar Square with friends or family and join in for the weekly carol singing, Starting on the 9th and running all the way up to Christmas eve.
There will be a huge tree which 40 singing groups will gather to sing around for an hour at a time. You can go along to watch if you don’t feel like joining in, and if you REALLY want to get involved you can sign your singing group up to perform on one of the days. Carol singing is becoming less common so it would really be a nice event to visit if you enjoy music and the Xmas spirit.
A Cosy Night In
This time of year its usually really cold out so as much as outdoor activities are a lot of fun I wanted to include some things to do in the warmth that won’t cost anything. Doing something as simple as everyone grabbing a blanket and having a Christmas movie night with friends or the family is a great way to spend a day. You can do marshmallow hot chocolates with the kids, everyone get in their jammies and have a Christmas movie marathon.
Or if you fancy a girls night you can do movies, a gift exchange, a few drinks and have everyone bring some xmas themed foods. There are so many great ways to have a themed get together and creating amazing memories without spending any money.
A Pantomime at home
Christmas is a time of year when we enjoy spending time with family so it’s nice to have an excuse to gather everyone around at home, it doesn’t cost anything and you can make it as big as you like. A nice way to do it would be to put on a pantomime, decorate your home to set the scene, you can get the whole family involved or let the kids take charge but you can send out invitations (or texts) to the whole family to come round and watch the performance. You can cook a big meal or ask everyone to bring a little something from their house and have a bit of a mix and match dinner.
You can be Santa
What better way to enjoy the run up to Christmas than to make the rounds and hand deliver all your gifts. It’s an opportunity to spend time with a few different households. It’s a really nice way to spend some time with the people you may not see on the actual day and it’s so much more personal than sending them through the post especially if they don’t live too far away.
Whatever you decide to do in the run up to the big day, have fun, take pics and make memories. When you feel like everything costs a fortune remember all the important fun things won’t cost you anything.
This Christmas be the #1 Wicked Uncle or Aunt
When you want to be the super grandparents, the wicked uncle or the best gift giving aunt, you tend to overthink when trying to find the perfect Christmas gifts for your loved ones. Sometimes I find it makes things a lot simpler to just ask…
A conversation with my five year old niece…
“Kady, what do little girls want for Christmas?”
“New toys”
“Yeah I kinda figured, but what kind of new toys?”
“Lots of new toys?”
“Okay Kady, I’ll figure this out myself. Thank you for all your help”
“You are welcome Auntie”
And sometimes asking yields no results at all haha

It’s less than 2 weeks until Christmas, which means that we need to start thinking about preparing for the big day. Most of us will already have got the meat and decided on what we are cooking for Christmas Day- but one thing you might like to change a little each year is what you do with the festive table.
Christmas is the ideal time to have a little fun with the table decorations and really let your creativity out. You could go crafty and make a lot of the decorations yourself, or stick to the traditional. It’s totally up to you and your personal taste.
Classic white
for this theme you will want to look to scandinavian design as your inspiration. Go for white, metallic tones and neutral colours to keep your table looking like it belongs in the arctic. You can use a white table cloth, lay out mini silver baubles on the table for extra effect and layer grey and white plates for each guest. It doesn’t matter if you have a dining table and 4 chairs or you are feeding the 500 – this theme is simple, sleek and will make you Christmas table feel extra special on Christmas Day. If you want a unique centrepiece- grab some battery operated lights and place them in a jar.
Country style
You may associate the winter season with tartan prints, lots of fur and a roofing fire on the go. To add an element of the countryside to your festive table this year you can take the traditional red and green of Christmas and mix them with wood and natural tones. Use a holly garland and wrap it around a large candle for a woodland style centrepiece for your table. And then fill your table with pine cones and winter berries to add that forest feel to the home. Use wooden placemats and serving dishes for your Christmas dinner to give that cosy country feel, and use a couple of tartan scarves to cover your dining chairs.
Candy cane theme
If you want to make your table feel like something which has come directly from Santa’s workshop- you can use red and white to make the table feel like a classic candy cane. Lay out a white table cloth with a red table runner over the top and then layer red and white plates for each person. But some candy canes and tie a small tag with each persons name on for the table settings. Scatter cookie sprinkles over the space and finish with some cute little sweet jars as your centrepiece.
A modern twist
If you want to bring Christmas into the modern day, you can mix rose gold table settings and plates with white and leafgreen for a modern, festive table. Copper is the perfect way to add a sense of class to your festive table, and offsetting this with Christmas green is the perfect nod to the festive season. Finish with a centrepiece of tealights for that ambient vibe.
