We all know Easter is all about the chocolate eggs and how much kids love hunting and eating these chocolate treats. However, when you have a lot of family and friends and they all buy your kid an Easter egg you end up inundated for months and spend ages trying to use them all up.
Now we know Easter isn’t Christmas and you don’t need to go out and buy lots of presents for your kid to open. But Easter has become more of a big deal so alongside some chocolate eggs a few small gifts can make the day extra special and add some extra excitement to the day. There are lots of different things from budget to high end depending on how much you want to spend this can be from new clothes to toys to just some little arts and crafts to do together.
Why not get your kid something else, if you are not sure of what else you could buy here are 3 things to buy a kid for Easter.
New spring easter outfits
With Easter welcoming the start of spring and saying goodbye to winter and the cold weather, now is the time to get that wardrobe updated. You could get your kid some new spring clothes to see them through the next season. Why not treat them to a new spring coat or some new trainers. You could even get them some Easter themed clothes with bunnies or eggs on them to wear on the day. Although clothing isn’t always that exciting for kids, it’s practical and a great way to start your spring wardrobe.
New garden toys
This is a great option as with better weather on its way your kids will want to be outside more and enjoy the sunshine. It also fits any budget as you will have many different options to pick from. You could get some new balls or outside chalk or if you wanted to spend a bit more on a new slide or trampoline. You could even be looking into things like a new bike, skateboard or scooter if you don’t have a big outside space. Your kids will be so excited to have some new things to enjoy in the garden!
Arts and crafts
This is another great option and you’ll find plenty of Easter themed items out there too, to add to your art and craft collection. There are also hundreds of different things you can choose from depending on what it is that your kids enjoy doing. From a painting by numbers to diamond art or new paints and colouring books. You can even get Easter themed Lego kids that you have to build too. It is also something nice you can all do together after you’ve had your dinner, eaten your Easter eggs and just want to relax.
