A day to remember

Whether you’re married or not, Valentine’s Day is a lovely time to feel romantic; I’m a fan of all sorts of relationships and even like Galantine’s Day – the perfect excuse to celebrate friendships and non-traditional relationships, which I think is lovely.

Life is often busy and we get caught up in doing tasks, working and looking after our families that it can sometimes feel hard to find the time to get together with our partner and put effort into a relationship. That doesn’t mean a relationship is bad, it just means that finding time for each other amongst the rest of the hustle and bustle of life can be tough.

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to find time; it is a day to remind us that love is important and gives us a reason to be romantic. This doesn’t have to be a grand gesture – breakfast in bed or even the promise of a movie night just the two of you can be a lovely, thoughtful gesture.
